Painting work at Ciudadela SEDEGES   (published in Bolivia)

What can you do on a sunny morning?

Grab a couple of brushes, pick up some paint cans and let your imagination fly!

That was what our volunteers that work in one of our local orphanages did this morning alongside the kids that they care of.

The result: a more colorful wall that brings some light and life to the-day-to-day of everybody.

Great job Arley, Julie, Svenja, Eva, and Laura!

Even though Christmas time is over, Projects Abroad decided to make a donation to one of the orphanages that our volunteers in destination go to work: Villa Esperanza.

The donation consisted of a brick lot for rebuilding one the orphanage walls that was about to fall down putting  the children’s safety in jeopardy

Enjoy the pics!

Promise to...   (published in Bolivia)

Here we are. Another year yet to come. Maybe it's too late to write our resolutions for 2013, but better late than never.

These are our wishes for the next 365 days:

*Keep encouraging people to go to work with special needs children as this is the most challenging and rewarding experience that you can get as a volunteer.

*Continue advertising the jungle part of Bolivia. Hey guys, there is more than llamas and snowy mountains over here!

*Keep growing, keep opening new projects, so more people can benefit from this exchange.

* Finally, as my good Italian friend of mine told us once... keep going with the socials where you can dance. You can’t really feel Latin-America until you move your hips with melodic tunes of this land.
