About me
Hi everyone, I'm a Physiotherapist volunteering in Nepal for three months from Melbourne, Australia.
I have been working as a physio for fifteen years now, and I am really excited (and nervous) about being able to give something back to some disadvantaged people through my work. I feel that I have been very lucky in my life, and I just want to make sure that I never take for granted all the great things we have in our country, like a warm bed everynight, a loving family, a safe and beautiful home to live in, food on the table everyday, the chance to have a good education.
I have a wonderfully supportive Mum, one sister and a beautiful niece and newphew. I also have a gorgeous fluffy persian cat called Millie who is my best companion and always by my side. I love and am very dedicated to my work and research, but also spend alot of time with my family. I like to go to the gym ( a newly acquired addiction), play the piano and oboe and generaly am very easy going and love to have a good laugh. I can't wait to meet lots of new friends and embark on this new adventure in my life. Please feel free to contact me, I'd really like to meet some new friends in Nepal.
