Last Saturday Project Abroad Volunteers gathered together for a walk to Mount Meru Waterfalls, It was an amazing trip. We started it after dala dala drop us at Ngeresi village. It was nice to walk in the cool climate, with fresh air as the village is covered by green vegetation which was attractive. If you hike to Mount Meru Waterfalls, you will realize how Arusha is Beautiful with green environment and the landscape. There are nice flowers on the way to the waterfalls and down is an attractive river direct from the Mount Meru Waterfalls with fresh and cold water that satisfy species of natural living things that surround the area.

On the way to the water falls, saw the local Maasai and Meru people with their hut style house made out of clay, as well as cattle and the cultivated farms surrounded by the lovely flowers which attract most pollinators. While hiking towards the forest you will enjoy the nice view of Arusha city. It’s a memorable time and you will always think of going back!
