Cubana’s Havana Café is a favourite social evening here in Cape Town. We met on Wednesday after work for a delicious dinner and a colourful selection of cocktails.

 Their menu is extensive: from baskets of chicken wings, potato wedges and chilli poppers – large chilli peppers, stuffed with feta, battered and fried, several different wraps, burgers and then main dishes like The Bermuda Triangle – grilled chicken breast on a bed of spinach and mashed potatoes, topped with avocado and haloumi cheese.

15 volunteers and 2 staff members had a lovely evening; all in all we represented South Africa, Denmark, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Germany, the USA, the UK and Australia!
