Whenever the people from the Andes need to do any work that will envolve "Mother earth", permission needs to be asked to the mountains. Here in this picture, the Inca project's Coordinator is baptizing a volunteer by taking soil from a site were excavations will be done and placing it on the person's head, the volunteer now can perform this act on other volunteers and this way the digging can begin.
