Moroccan Football   (published in Morocco)

October 31, 2011 by   Comments (0)

Yesterday MAS, Fes football team, made it to the CAF final after they won 1 – 0 against Interclub from Angola. The goal was scored at the additional time by Chtaibi via a nice shot from a distance of almost 25 meters. After the game, Fes and Morocco celebrated this interesting calcification as it is the first in the history of the Fassi team, why not their first title. On the 6th of November they will play against Club D'afrique from Tunisia in order to add the African title to the Fassi's trophy closet.

Also the Wydad team from Casablanca made it to the African Champions league final and they will play the final against another Tunisian team. If they make it and win the Champions league, they will be playing the world cup for football teams.

 Good luck Moroccan teams!

Chawen   (published in Morocco)

October 21, 2011 by   Comments (0)

Most of our volunteers are planning to visit the bleu pearl, Chefchaouen, situated in the Rif Mountains with its bleu relaxing atmosphere and cool water. Almost the entire city is bleached in bleu that was first initiated by the Jewish refugees who lived there during the 1930s. It is a spectacular sight at the backdrop of peaks of the Rif Mountains. The streets are filled with cozy restaurants and shops where you can easily mingle with the locals. If you are into souvenir shopping, I’m sure you can find some good choices there too. Have a nice weekend and stay safe!

Morocco Vs Tanzania   (published in Morocco)

October 10, 2011 by   Comments (0)

Sometimes some things are just too crazy to believe but true!!

It happened yesterday that I was sitting in a coffee shop in MED 5th street in Rabat. While sipping my drink randomly, there was a fool caricature artist distributing his works and guessing randomly the result of Morocco Vs Tanzania game before the start. I still remember that he said " we will win 3—1, he even named the players who will score – Chamak, Taarabt and Boussofa- successively " fortunately, what he said was hundred per cent true and we make it to the African Nations Cup finals of 2012 in Guinea and Gabon. After the game a couple of thousands of Moroccans headed to main streets and squares to celebrate all together this happy moment.
