Our world...the place where mankind has created its civilizations throughout the ages, the place where the future generations will live, is in danger.

We need to put lots of hands-on work in the field to help our world to feel better! We need to create a bigger social consciousness in regards to this matter .That is why Mr. Glenn Blackburn gives you an insight to the kind of work needed and done in the Biological Station in Tecoman, Jalisco, MEXICO as part of the wide range that Projects Abroad offers in conservation programmes.

What are we doing to help our world feeling better?

Thanks a lot ot Glenn Blackburn!

An insight into Ceramics in Mexico!   (published in Mexico)

May 20, 2010 by   Comments (0)

The world of ceramics is a vast one! In Mexico it has been one of the most important sources of income for the country. The great presence of Mexican ceramics around the world is more present than before. The technics and ways to make ceramic have evolved in such a way that sometimes it is difficul to find workshops using the traditional process and tools.

In Projects Abroad Mexico we are glad to work in partnership with Ceramic 1, one of the biggest, but must importantly, one of the most traditional workshops in Tlaquepaque (cradle of Mexican handcrafting). Volunteers learn how to prepare ceramics in the traditional way and at the same time they can develop their artistic skills.

Enjoy the video we have prepared for you!

Cheers from Mexico!
