Jewell of the Khmer culture, Angkor, with his numerous temples spread out in the jungle, represent the time when Cambodia was a rich and powerful country.

After the Island

May 24, 2012 by   Comments (0)

Little summing-up

One month was too little time to spend on the island. After spending all my time diving, chilling in a hamac and having nice chat with people around a cheep beer and fried rice, I feel like now is the right time to go back on the road even if I got pretty used to the life on this island.

Bad news for the pictures, They are on a computer of one of the volunteer on the island because of a technologic mistake of mine, but no worries I'll be able to post some of the pictures soon.

Heading to Siem Reap with Patrick, Sam and Kat to see these amazing temples that everybody talks about, Ankgor ! After the day in the temples and a great night out in Siem Reap my time to leave Vietnam (just after saying Hi to a friend in Phnom Phen). \

Arrived in Ho-chi-Minh and visit the cuchi tunnel with Kiwis I met on the bus from Cambodia.

Now I'm getting ready to get the night bus to Nah trang where I'm meeting my favourite australian.

Bag

The bag

You pack it, you unpack it, and finally you remember that last time walking with your back killing you and swear that you won't take that much next time.

Well, that's my backpack, my stuff for four month, with a few thing in addition, things people gave me and gifts for the children.

trip to Cambodia

April 15, 2012 by   Comments (1)

Day - 5 before leaving my little home for Cambodia. Home that I just meet again for 10 days after 3 months wandering in Ireland and the Uk with a red Backpack and smelly clothes inside.

I'm really excited about my first time in Cambodia, trying to read about and watch videos as much as I can, annoying all my entourage with my sentences always starting with : '' interesting fact about Cambodia, did you know that...blablah''

I feel a little bit guilty about the fact that I didn't do the tasks of the home page of myprojectabroad in the right order, and some aren't done yet. In theses case I like to do it the spanish way: mañana, mañana..

As my inspiration is going away as fast as it came here is a little video :
