Last week some children from care program were motivated to use the drawings of our campaign to protect the Scarlet Macaw. The volunteers Anette Bisgard and Laura Dalsgaard that are working in the placement helped us to this activity, thanks to them for been part of this!!

Hello Dear All !!!

I want to share with all the progress of our special project that volunteers are making at the Elderly Home. We have some weeks working in that and they feel good doing this.

It consists on different types of seeds, then they born in order to achieve different foodstuffs such as onions, cilantro, squash, watermelon and others ... People from the Elderly Home are very thankfull with the volunteers and with Project Abroad in general, beacuse the elderly need it, also feel very good and so happy to have people visiting them.  its for this reason that i want to say thank you very much to all our volunteers who are involved in this!.

Hello to Everybody!!

I want to inform and share with all our visitors of this page a great idea we have in The Conservation Project, Costa Rica.

First of all it’s important to let people know about the situation that Costa Rica has with some species in danger of extinction specially the Red Macaw. This problem is not just here in Guanacaste province also is part of the rest of Central America and part of South America.

 For this reason is that in conservation program people are going to do a nice mission, due to the close nests that are located near to the park is that emerged the idea to go there and camping 24hrs by 4-5 months to protect these nests and be sure that the macaws can survive this year, not like last years where people committed robbery.

Her i will share some drawings that i shared with some children of care program, we are promoting the childrenl to let know about the conservation of this important specie here in Liberia, hope the project goes on pretty soon and shall be possible to make the idea a reality, good luck for all and thank you very much for this amazing project.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Hello Everybody!!!

On January 9, some of our volunteers in program are going to help with an special project that Projects Abroad, Costa Rica has in order to create a garden for the elderly home here in Liberia, Guanacaste.

The volunteers are happy and so interested to start with this because this for a better stay of the eldrely. Staff menmbers also cant wait to start and make this possible !!! Thank you to our volunteers who are going to help, hope this will be a good experience for them too.
