Hola senors and senoras, final entry. Went home Wed after the internet cafe and Leda made me a nice homemade lasagna, a nice big fresh salad and made strawberry refresco, good last meal. Had to go to Dr. Vega's house to say goodbye and give him his card. He lives only 5 blocks away so thought it would be a quick trip. 2 blocks away, in between both houses, rain starts and it was a downpour. Had to run to under a small roof as the houses usually have a roof that goes over the sidewalk about a foot. Had the card and my camera so had to wait out the storm. Best storm I have witnessed. Saw about 500 flashes and about 100 forks in the 50 mins I had to wait under the roof, pretty awesome. Ended up seeing a large centipede when I turned around at my foot and had to change spots once haha. Got home and then grabbed to umbrella to head back to the Dr.s'. Got some photos, gave him his card and exchanged information. He gave me a medical doctor's pin of colegio de medicos and cirujanos (surgeons), only for Dr.s but said I was his best student so bam. Home and gave Leda her metal elephant statue. She likes elephants so this is nice as she can also put flowers in it. Liked her card too, had my trademark phrase in it, mmmmmmmmmmmuuuuuuuuuyyyyyyyyyyyyyy bbbbbbbbbuuuuuuuuuuuuuuueeeeeeeeeeeennnnnnnnnnnnnnoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. She and Salv were laughing pretty good. Chris came home around 9:30 and had to work at 6 in the morning so we just chilled and watched The Town. Already packed so off to bed.
Up around 7:30 to shower and say goodbye with some photos and then picked up at 9:30. Off to the airport and not too busy so plowed right through customs and paid my $28 departure tax. Had a couple hours to kill so relaxed and walked around. People rolling fresh cigars and some people painting some awesome pictures, should have bought one. Best mozza sticks I have had and a pineapple smoothie for lunch, only $10 and got all my change back in american as there was no bank in the airport. 3 hour flight to Miami and then that was brutal. 2 hours to get to customs, get through customs and then get my luggage and get back into the airport again. 45 mins before my flight left and needed some dinner. Just walked across the gate and went to some little place. Didn't look too amazing but close. Asked the guy for pulled pork or brisket, and he said brisket. 5 min wait and only 1 dollar left after dinner, perfect haha. The brisket was unreal, with a nice little salad, looked like a 4 star restaurant and tasted like it too. 3 hour flight to Toronto and only about 15 mins to get through customs, and my bag even got checked because I looked Al Queda maybe who knows. Out around 12:15 and picked up by the parents, nice to seem them and they were happy to see me. Qucked trip home and around around 2:45, unpacked and to bed. Awesome trip and recommend Costa Rica to anybody deciding where to go. Thanks to everybody who made this trip possible and Adios.
